Week of February 3rd, 2019

As January already comes to a close, here are a few things to highlight on your calendar and keep in your prayers for the week ahead:

  • TODAY is the last day to register for the 2019 Diocesan Regional Retreat! You don’t want to miss the Diocese of Christ Our Hope’s Southeast Region Retreat on February 7th-9th in Raleigh, NC. For more details and to register, see the Diocesan website: https://www.adhope.org/2019-southeastIf you are planning on going, please let us know by sending an email to our office at admin@christtheredeemer.org.
  • Facebook Status Update. If you didn’t know already, Christ the Redeemer’s Facebook presence is a little confusing at times… In an effort to streamline communications, we will be begin shifting all official CtR news and information to the “Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church” page, found at this link: https://www.facebook.com/christtheredeemernorfolk/. Please “like” and “follow” this page if you haven’t already!
  • Continue to pray for the Women’s Retreat, happening this weekend. Also, keep in mind that most of our women will be at the Retreat during services on Sunday, so things may run a little different than usual. 🙂

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Pour your grace into our hearts, O Lord, that we who have known the incarnation of your Son Jesus
Christ, announced by an angel to the Virgin Mary, may by his cross and passion be brought to the
glory of his resurrection; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
now and for ever. Amen.

(A Collect from Midday Prayer)
