We trust you are all enjoying this last month of summer and have had times of refreshment with family and friends. Here are a few things going on at CtR this week and beyond:
First of all, our Rwandan team landed safely in Kigali on Thursday afternoon. They are spending today at the Genocide Museum and will spend time with Bp. Louis and the Diocesan staff. Please remember to keep the team in your prayers: Brian Campbell, Casey and Andrew Reed, Lytton Musselman, Hank Thompson, Isaac and Cole Fraser, Michelle Harper and Rob Slaughter. We will send out updates as we receive them.
Secondly, Jennifer Brown will be facilitating a training session for all volunteers in Children’s Ministry. This is mandatory for all current teachers and for any future volunteers. You may attend the training on either of these dates: August 26 or September 9 starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Church. Contact Jennifer with questions: brownie7506@yahoo.com.
A reminder that we are collecting pencils for Park Place students. The deadline is this Sunday (August 6) and there is a basket in the fellowship hall for your convenience.
