Community Groups

God never intended for us to live in isolation. That’s part of the reason God gives us the church because the Christian life is meant to be lived in community. Jesus said, “I have come so that you may have life and have it to the full.” At Christ the Redeemer, our Community Groups offer you this full and abundant life together and are open to all.

Our Community Groups mirror the overall purpose of Christ the Redeemer and are places where we live out our individual and communal life as Jesus’ Disciples. It’s here where we follow Jesus, where we are formed by Jesus and from which we seek to fulfill Jesus’ mission.

They are ‘missionally-minded communities that serve the common goals of the larger community and the common good of the world. Join one of our groups and find others who will support you, grow with you and serve with you as together we seek to bring the good news of Jesus to the world.

As you read below, our groups meet throughout the week and all over Hampton Roads. Let us connect you to one our Community Group at Christ the Redeemer by using our Digital Welcome card to express interest and will put you in touch with specific leaders.
