Week of April 10

Dear Friends,
Here are some things happening this week at Christ the Redeemer:
If you would like to sign-up to take a meal to Dave and Natalie Shellock for the birth of their new little one, Samantha, please go to TakeThemAMeal.com and use this login: name: Shellock  password: Callie
Family Game Night is this Saturday, April 16th at 6:30!  We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, so bring your favorite board game and a snack to share.  Contact Jennifer Brown at brownie7506@yahoo.com for more information.  Hope to see you there!
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 1st, for Compassion/Mission Sunday.  We will gather immediately following the service to hear about the progress and opportunities with our Rwanda Missions, including the school house project and Compassion.  This will be a “catered” meal, and all are welcome to join to learn more about our outreach to our Rwandan brothers and sisters.  This is a big event for CtR, so we hope to see everyone there.
Are you looking for a way to serve here at Christ the Redeemer? We are currently in need of a few more people to help out with the Usher Ministry.  If you feel inclined or if God has put it in your heart to serve in this manner, please contact Clark Garvin at clarkgarvin@cox.net
Vacation Bible School is the week of June 27th, and it will be here before we know it!  We are in need of a few donated items to help out with crafts and decorating.  Items can be dropped off in the church office or given to Jennifer on one of the upcoming Sundays.  The items needed are: baby food jars, water bottle caps (clear in color), clear shower caps, and empty “standard size” soup cans (think Campbell’s soups) with the labels removed.
I look forward to worshiping with you all on Sunday.
