The Fall is a busy and exciting season. It offers a wonderful opportunity for a fresh start, a new beginning. If God has been prompting you to find your ’12’ or to ‘go deeper’ in your faith walk, then take note of some of the opportunities beginning THIS WEEK!

Thursday Morning Women’s Group starts tomorrow morning at the church beginning at 9:15 a.m. They will use Beth Moore’s “Children of the Day” series on 1 and 2 Thessalonians. (Contact Janis Campbell at 757-284-8245)

In addition, all of the home/community groups within the church are open to new members. If you have questions or concerns about the best option for you this fall, please contact Lauren Gyorfi at 980-354-1391.
“Exploring Membership at Christ the Redeemer” If God has drawn you to this community and you are finding a ‘home’ among us, we encourage you to take the next step and explore membership. An informational meeting will take place after worship on Sunday. Bring your questions and an open mind and see how the Spirit directs.
“Serve the City” takes place on Saturday, October 3 but the registration deadline is THIS SUNDAY, September 20. Please take a moment and read the brochure attached, fill it out and bring it with you on Sunday to church.
Furniture Needed – Joshua Matlack is a newly arrived grad student at Regent and in need of some basic furnishings (a couch, table and chairs, dresser). If you have (or know someone who has) some old furniture you need to get rid of, please let Joshua know (254-652-5335).
Tenth Anniversary Dinner deadline for RSVP is This Sunday, September 20.
Looking forward to worshiping with you on Sunday.
